Rich Voelbel
Rich Voelbel has over 30 years of complex commercial litigation experience in courts around the United States. In addition, over the past 20 years he has been involved in a wide variety of domestic and international alternative dispute resolution matters, both as arbitrator and counsel. Rich serves as a claims officer for a Bermuda-based insurance company. He has served as Regional Counsel for extra-contractual claims on behalf of a major property/casualty insurance company, as outside general counsel on insurance matters for a fortune 500 company, and as outside counsel for a major reinsurance intermediary. He has also served as a New York Stock Exchange arbitrator, an ARIAS arbitrator, an AAA arbitrator and as guest speaker to industry groups on the subject of commercial arbitration and other aspects of alternative dispute resolution. Rich is a member of Colonial Church of Edina and former Moderator, Deacon and member of the Mission Board and Church Council. He is a former member of both the Kilimanjaro Children’s Hospital and the Young Life Board. |
